So I finally got back my practice Ap English exam results back today. Lets just say that I still have lots of room for improvement. I am getting my practice SAT exam results back tomorrow. I want 200 points higher than my last score. If I fail to reach that then I am going to give up on socializing and just focus on school, Sats and volleyball. I've been spending too much time going out, socializing and playing videogames. It is about time for me to get to work. I need to put all the fun and play aside and deal with these problems first. I'll try to update, go on AIM and Facebook ocassionaly but I just need to spend this whole month studying.
Anyways after class today I went to Zhi's house with Jennifer, Ben, Huy, Phuong, Zhi and Tony Lee. Ben, Huy and Phuong left. Jennifer and I stayed for a bit longer and then we left. Before we left we got to talk about Karaoke. We were planning to do it tonight but I decided not to go. Kind of regret it now. Hate the feeling of regret.

Week update

Week went by pretty fast this week. First two days were slow as hell though. Wed, Thurs and Fri went by pretty fast though. So what have I been up to? Nothing much, just chilling, relaxing, the usual stuff. Been playing a lot of Quakelive. Beta takes a while to load though. The game runs pretty well on the browser. When I first heard of it I thought it was goona look like crap. Guess I was wrong. Volleyball conditioning starts next week. Need to call coach over the weekend after my AP classes. I do not wanna go to class tomorrow. Argh. At least Jennifer and Nancy will be there with me. :D. I have class Sunday too. WTF and I have homework. Well with the amount of relaxation I got, I guess its about time for me to get to work.

Thinking about next pick up. I am aware that I am broke but still thinking about what I should get next. Probably sometime in summer I will pick it up. But here is what I am considering.

So what is next....

I just finished The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told by Alex Haley. I still need to finish The Element of Style sometime this week. I am close to finishing that book. Pretty interesting book and really helpful. But let me talk about The Autobiography of Malcolm X. This book was just simply great. It had some really hardcore stuff like drinking, smoking, drugs and sex. Even some of the less hardcore stuff was pretty cool. Like the Nation of Islam and life in prison. The book is just great . So what am I going to be working on next? Well I really want to rediscover The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint Exupery, a short little book talking about a prince who travel from planet to planet to find his true home. I have not read this book in years, so it is going to be pretty interesting. I am going to start Their Eyes Were Watching God really soon. I am not to excited due to the dialect in the book. My English teacher keep pushing me to read it, so I guess I'll start it this week. So what is after that? Who knows? I might read the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time for like the fifth time. One of my all time favorites. But I actually might read Crime and Punishment again. I did not like it when I first read it, but it always appealed to me.

ARGHHHH can not wait for season two..I love Haruhi so much. She be like my anime crush if I had one. Well enjoy these filler shorts for now. Not as good as the original series but a good time waster :D. And doesn't Haruhi and Mikuru look so cute. :D

SNSD:Dance Battle

I am not a real big fan of Korean music. Especially Wondergirls and like other bands. Even though they may be good but I just never really enjoyed it. No hate, I love the WonderGirls but just never a real big fan. But a few nights ago Jennifer introduced me to a few korean bands. I guess she was bored? lol but they sure can dance. And they have some freaking nice legs. Particularly SooYoung who is in the yellow. I have listened to some singles, some of them are kinda catchy and they dont have a bad voice either.. Hopefully I wont be addicted to this music. :/

Does anyone else remember this Talib Kweli song? Shit was fire back then. Song does bring back old memories of me listening to some Kanye's hot shit back then like Late Registration and College Drop out. I have actually been listening to Late Registration, College Dropout and Talib's The Beautiful Struggle. Once you think about music changed espically the rap scene changed so much.

Vacation update

I haven't done anything really exciting during vacation. I am drenched with SAT studying and Ap English homework. I am currently reading Malcolm X and I love it. It is such a great book. It is like one of those books that can change a person's life for the better. I suggest everyone to read it. I am only half way finished with the book. I know I am a slow reader. I should have finished it by now since I got the book on friday. Oh wells, I still have the rest of the week to finish it. I been wasting a lot of money lately as well. I just bought a New Snowboard. It was a bargain though. 160 dollars for a popular snowboard. I'll take it. Hopefully it comes in soon. All I need now are Bindings and Boots.

All Star Weekend

It All-Star weekend baby. :D. So what have I done so far this weekend? You can say I've done a lot but it does not seem like it. On Friday, I got my hair cut and after I went to the school dance with Jennifer, Simon and Tony. The dance was like a jungle there. So many black people. We did not stay for long so we went around Dorchester instead. We first went by this community center in Dorchester to go to another dance but then we realized that we would not fit in. So we went to Boston Bowl instead. Boston Bowl was pretty fun. All we did was play pool and I was able to catch the celebrity Basketball game there as well. After Boston Bowl we went to Brighton for some food. We went to Wing-It. Some spicy food that it was. Tony drove me home later since it was kind of close. Before I left we gave our flowers to Jennifer because we had all bought her flowers. I came home to a bunch of drunk college people playing beer pong. It did not really bother me since I am used to it already but I wish they were not as loud. So I slept pretty late because I was reading Malcom X. My class has to finish that book in one week. Like WTF? and she gave us other assignments as well. WTF. So after reading, I went to sleep. On Saturday, it was Valentine's day. I did not feel like going out because I was afraid that people on the train will be like "what the hell is this loser doing without a girl". I eventually did go out around 3:30. I went to the YMCA. I felt like I had to go because it would be the last weekend before my membership expires. Thinking about it, it seemed like a few weeks ago that I got my membership. The year went by real fast. After going to the YMCA, I went back home to catch the slam dunk contest. Howard should have won. argh. Whatever. Hopefully the game tonight would be good.

Even though this commercial is short, you have to love the collaboration of Bob Dylan and William. There is no full version of this song on Youtube yet but there is a Bob Dylan song called "Forever young" which has the same lyrics but without William. But what I really like about this video is the video itself. It has a cool concept and makes some cool comparisons.

My weekend.

So I had a great time this weekend. On Friday, I went to hotpot at zhi's house. It was really fun and there was so much meat. Meat is always good. After hotpot we karaoked for a bit and played some cards as well. It was pretty fun overall. Saturday was a pretty relaxing day. Went down to quincy to hang out with Dustin and Tony. We had our 2nd feminine Saturday. All we did was go to petco, pho and Tony's house. It was pretty relaxing. Today was not that bad. I had to go to class which was a drag but it started one hour late. I missed the second half of the Celtic's game and missed the Laker's game. ARGH. Whatever. O, I made a bomb salad for lunch. It was so good.
